Dr. Kareem Moasis, MD
Dr. Kareem Moasis is an Internal Medicine/Primary Care Physician with advanced specialty training in Internal Medicine, Addiction Medicine, Pain Medicine, Longevity Medicine, and Behavioral Health. He is the founder and Medical Director at Oasis Medical Group — and the reason patients drive from across Encinitas, Fallbrook, and North County San Diego to receive his medical care.
Dr. Moasis completed his medical training and residency with a focus on comprehensive, relationship-based internal medicine at Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, New York. He was drawn to internal medicine because of its breadth — the ability to care for the whole patient across every system of the body — and to addiction medicine because of the profound impact that effective treatment can have on a patient's entire life trajectory.
What sets Dr. Moasis apart is not just his clinical knowledge — it is his approach. He practices medicine the way it was meant to be practiced. He sits down. He listens. Yes — we offer same-day appointments for primary care, sick visits, and addiction medicine intakes whenever our schedule allows. Walk-ins are also welcome. Call 760-691-1901 to confirm availability.
We accept all major insurance plans — including Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Cigna, United Healthcare, Tricare, Medicare and most PPO plans. The only exception is Medi-Cal, which we do not accept. Affordable cash-pay options are also available.
Absolutely. All addiction medicine care at Oasis Medical Group is private, discreet, and judgment-free. Your medical information is protected under HIPAA, and we treat every patient with dignity.
Most patients can be evaluated and started on Suboxone the same day they call. Dr. Moasis and his team include board-certified addiction medicine physicians and can prescribe immediately when appropriate.
